krn pnasarn apa sih yg gw alamin, gw carilh d google, trjawablh itu namanya Sleep paralysis atau paralysis nokturnus. Menurut medis, sleep paralysis alias tidur lumpuh adalah keadaan ketika orang akan tidur atau bangun tidur merasa sesak napas seperti dicekik, dada sesak, badan sulit bergerak dan sulit berteriak.

Sleep paralysis itu bisa terjadi pada siapa aja, cowok atau cewek. Usia rata-rata orang pertama kali mengalami gangguan tidur ini tuh 14-17 tahun. Sleep paralysis ni bisa berlangsung dalam hitungan detik maupun menit. Nah, saat tindihan ini terjadi, kita bisa ngalamin halusinasi, kayak ngeliat sosok atau bayangan hitam di sekitar tempat tidur.

Menurut Al Cheyne, peneliti dari Univ. Waterloo Kanada, sleep paralysis ini adalah sejenis halusinasi karena adanya malfungsi tidur di tahap Rapid Eye Movement (REM).

Jadi, berdasar gelombang otak, tidur terbagi jadi 4 tahapan. Pertama, tahapan tidur paling ringan (kita masih setengah sadar), trus tahap tidur yang lebih dalem, tidur paling dalem, trus taham REM ini. Pada tahap inilah mimpi terjadi.

Kalo tubuh kita terlalu capek, atau kurang tidur, gelombang otak gak ngikutin tahapan tidur yang seharusnya. Jadi dari keadaan sadar ke tahap tidur paling ringan, langsung lompat ke mimpi (REM).

Ketika otak mendadak terbangun dari tahap REM, tapi tubuh belum, di sinilah sleep paralysis terjadi. Kita merasa sangat sadar tapi tubuh gak bisa gerak.

Sleep paralysis ini juga bisa merupakan pertanda narcolepsy (serangan tidur mendadak tanpa tanda-tanda mengantuk), sleep apnea (mendengkur), kecemasan, atau depresi.

Jadi, kalo kayaknya kalian ngalamin ini pas abis kelelahan, istirahatlah yang cukup. Kalo kayaknya kurang tidur, tidur yang cukup, 8-10 jam.

Oia, sleep paralysis ini biasanya terjadi pada orang yang posisi tidurnya terlentang. Nahh, makanya tidurnya hadep kanan aja yaa… (sm aja buat gw hadep kanan atau kiri kna jg)
